Dr. Yanga’s Colleges & EvoEnergi Seal Strategic Energy Partnership for Sustainable Growth

BOCAUE, BULACAN — On May 8, 2026, Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc. (DYCI) formalized its partnership with EvoEnergi,  a dynamic Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) and leading Retail Aggregator in the Philippines, through a contract signing held at the DYCI Elida Campus Huddle Center.

The event was attended by DYCI President Michael Yanga, EvoEnergi President Julian Lao, and AECO Energy Philippines General Manager Debbie Alfonso.

This milestone collaboration marks DYCI’s official transition into the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA).  Through the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP), the institution will now be able to optimize its electricity sourcing and effectively manage a total contracted capacity demand of 1,400 kW across its 12 sites.

Serving as a key strategic partner in this initiative is AECO Energy Philippines, which plays a vital role in energy supply sourcing, market access, and structuring competitive electricity solutions. Backed by AECO’s expertise, the partnership ensures seamless supply coordination and pricing mechanisms tailored to the institution’s operational requirements.

“Through this partnership, DYCI will save more in order to save lives through education, recognizing that learning is the key to transforming the lives of our students. We are also contributing to environmental sustainability by incorporating clean energy sources into our electricity supply,” said President Yanga.

EvoEnergi’s President Lao echoed this sentiment, highlighting the deeper alignment behind the collaboration, “We go beyond being just a business partner because we share deeply aligned values with DYCI. Guided by honesty, integrity, and a strong God-centered foundation, these principles define how we serve, treat our partners, and foster long-term relationships. We are excited to power your facilities so you can focus entirely on educating and shaping lives.”

By aligning operational efficiency with long-term institutional goals, the partnership demonstrates how educational institutions can take a more proactive and structured approach to energy management—leveraging retail electricity supply not just as a utility expense, but as a strategic lever for growth and impact.
